The Chinese Smartphone giant Vivo has launched its latest Vivo Nex in India on Thursday. The rebranded version of Nex S, Vivo Nex comes up with some striking features that include the popup selfie camera, in display fingerprint sensor, and an exclusive cooling system that can keep the phone cool during games. The new Vivo Nex can be purchased at Rs 44,990 in India. The device will available for sale through Amazon and Company’s official online store from July 21 onwards. However, the preorder has already begun.
For Indian markets, the company is introducing only the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant. The phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with a clock speed of 2.8 GHz and feature the latest Android 8.1 Oreo. It runs on Funtouch OS 4.0 and has a dual SIM nano setup. The display of the smartphone includes a 6.59-inch Full HD+ display of 1080 x 2316 that is Super AMOLED Ultra full view and with a 19.3:9 aspect ratio. The India variant has 128 GB of storage which is non-expandable, and the handset weighs around 199 grams and has dimensions of 162 mm x 77 mm x 7.98 mm.
The camera specifications include an 8 MP front camera with an aperture of f/2.0, camera effects such as Portrait Bokeh, AR stickers, Backlight HDR, Face beauty, etc., and a primary camera of 12 MP with a f/1.8 aperture in a dual camera setup. It has a dual-core tech and 4 axis OIS for better clarity and an LED light feature with dual color temperature. The connectivity options of Vivo Nex has Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS/ A-GPS, Type-C USB with OTG, etc. It also features the latest sensors including a digital compass, virtual gyroscope, an accelerometer, proximity sensor and an ambient light sensor.
