A few days back Vodafone announced that they will provide 4G VoLTE services to its customers in the beginning of January 2018 in India. The network kept its promise and started the rolling out service in Gujarat first. The major metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Kolkata will roll out the 4G service in few days.
The established company hasn’t announced the launch officially. But MobiGyaan was the first one to spot the launch of the scheme. MobiGyaan further added they will support the statement with a confirmation from the network or when an official statement is quoted from the respective company.
VoLTE stands for Voice over Long-Term Evolution and is used for transmitting the voice data and calls with the help of 4G/LTE network instead of 2G or 3G. Customers can easily upgrade their sim to 4G sim with the help of nearest Vodafone service center by giving a photo ID proof and a passport size photograph. The VoLTE connection was the main feature when Reliance Jio launched the sim in the month of September in 2016. After a year Airtel Bharti also launched the 4G sim in the market. Since then the companies have made a good reputation in the technology world.
Once Vodafone launches the scheme it will stand third in the row with full VoLTE support after Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. After the launch of VoLTE the supernet Vodafone 4G users will be experiencing a drastic change in the good quality of HD voice calls and the calls will be connected fast. The plan will not cost any extra charges to the elite subscribers of the company all they need is a device which supports VoLTE and 4G SIM.
