The much-anticipated smartphone Nokia 2 has been launched by HMD global in India. Currently, the company is at the fourth position in the feature phone market and Nokia 2 is its first exclusive launch. The price of Nokia 2 is less than Nokia 3 and will have a tough competition with Moto C and Xiaomi Redmi 4A in India.
The Nokia 2 will be having a 5 inch TFT display and resolution of 1280 x 720. It will come with a 4100 mAh battery which is supposed to give 2 days of battery life. It will run on Android 7.1 Nougat and will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo lately, and has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 chipset which replaces the Snapdragon 210 chipset. The Snapdragon 212 has a quad-core ARM Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and is coupled with the Adreno 304 GPU.
The Nokia 2 will have an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera, and will also have LED flash at the back. It will come with 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage which will be expanded to 128GB via microSD card. The phone will come in three color variants, Copper/Black, Pewter/Black and Pewter/White and there will not be a fingerprint sensor. It will be available for sale from mid-November and will carry a €99 price tag.
