Whatsapp colored status rolling out for android and iPhone

Whatsapp color text status rolling out for it Android and iPhone users. After a successful beta test, this feature is coming to its Android and iPhone app. This feature was first introduced by Facebook and now people can use this feature in WhatsApp as well. It allows user to write their status with a colorful background, font, and emoji combination.

WABetaInfo reports that on Android and iOS, this feature is remotely activated but only some users can able to see this feature, others who didn’t see this feature yet have to wait for full-fledged update.

In iPhone, user can use this feature by just clicking on the pen icon showing just right to the camera icon on the new status bar. Clicking on the pen icon will show a colored screen with an option of text, emoji, and background color as well.

In Android, on the status bar layout user can see a floating button on the bottom and just up to the camera floating button, and this will also show the same features as shown in iPhone i.e., text, emoji, and background color.

When you’re done writing text status, you can post them by just clicking on the arrow button as you use to send media files to your contacts. The tipster also confirms that windows phone does not support this feature. So, they can’t use this for now, on web client user can only view these text statuses but cannot create them. Tipster also confirms that iPhone will now support more stickers and an improved chat search as well. The stickers are disabled for now but it will be switched on in next updates.

Lastly, Whatsapp for iPhone will now finally able to customize the text in chat from the typing bar, just tap and hold the text for a while and can be changeable from the floating option that appeared.
