Xiaomi is taking a step ahead to success with offline presence. Mi soon to setup its ‘Mi Home’ in Delhi. They already launched its two ‘Mi Home’ in Bengaluru this year and now want to setup in Delhi.
“Delhi-NCR will get its ‘Mi Home’ sometime very soon. Perhaps in next few weeks,” Manu Kumar Jain, Vice President, Xiaomi and Managing Director, Xiaomi India, told IANS on the sidelines of an event in New Delhi.
“I can not tell you the exact date as of now unless the store is completely set up,” Jain added.
In just 6 months from 23rd January to 23rd July Xiaomi sold over 5 million units of Xiaomi Note 4 which is quite higher than other best-selling company’s like Samsung J2. Last year, 3.3 million units of J2 were sold in first six months. This Friday, Xiaomi celebrate the success of record sale of its ‘Redmi Note 4’ device.
On the celebration of ‘Redmi Note 4’, Xiaomi has created the world’s largest grain mosaic art spanning 6,000 square feet at Thyagraj Stadium in New Delhi. This mosaic art is measured and certified by Unique Surveyors, a land surveying company.
This mosaic was made by nearly 40,000 kg of food grains, including pulses and rice. After the celebration, these grains were given to Robin Hood Army NGO and later on this would be donated nearly 5 lakh people on Independence days as part of Xiaomi Initiative.
The Robin Hood Army also pledge to feed one million people on this Independence Day and Xiaomi’s mosaic art may be the biggest contribution in this initiative.
